![]() All our race team clients and even our series clients, they don't only use rFactor for track familiarization. It enhanced the original with a more sophisticated tire and physics model and features like variable weather and a “real road” track surface that changes over the course of a race and really takes into account where cars drive instead of relying on some pre-defined “ideal line”. It contained a lot of code that had been developed as part of rFactor Pro, a version of the simulation that is sold to professional racing and formula one teams, backported into the new “consumer” version. We are lucky to even have access to such a professianal grade sim platform for just 20€.Įarly 2012 ISI released rFactor 2, an evolution of the original version. It's physical accuracy has been verified multiple times and is only surpassed by rFactor 2. rFactor is not only a game, it's a pure race sim platform and still the first choice for professional racing teams. I wish people stopped spreading this disinformation. If the team has better games to its name, it should have released those games and not this steaming pile of game. A very very very old game that is so inferior to those afore mentioned titles that it can't even score a single point on nostalgia.
